Dr A.N. Safaya of the super specialties hospital at Puttaparti in Ananthapuram district told media persons today that the renowned spiritual Guru Sri Satya Sai Baba had recovered well from his ailment and would be discharged from the hospital in a couple of days.

Sri Satya Sai Baba was hospitalized on Monday after he complained of low heart beat and was under constant watch of specialist doctors. A medical bulletin released by the hospital also said that the Baba had a restful night and his condition was gradually progressing.

Today, Sri Satya Sai Seva Trust has airlifted a group of specialist doctors to Puttaparthi from Bangalore in a helicopter to attend to the Baba. Safaya disclosed that the Guru’s heart beat has almost come to a normal stage after pace maker was arranged. “Sri Satya Sai Baba would be discharged in a couple of days,” he said.
