BJP senior leader Rajanath Singh assured the Telangana political JAC chairman Professor Kodanda Ram that the BJP would support the struggle aimed at achieving Telangana state.
Rajnath Singh gave this assurance to Kodanda Ram when the latter called on him in Delhi today and sought his support for the T moment. Kodanda Ram also met JDU leader Sharad Yadav and CPI general secretary AB Bardan seeking their support for the Telangana moment.
Assuring his party’s full support to the struggle for Telangana, Rajnath Singh told him that BJP will bring pressure on the government to introduce the Telangana Bill in the next parliament session.
Kodanda Ram told the central leaders that Telangana movement would be intensified from the month of May and sought their support to the struggle. He also explained to them about the 8th chapter of the Justice Sri Krishna Committee report on Telangana and also about the implications of the GO No.177 issued by the state government.
Kodanda Ram has also constituted a 13-member national level Telangana JAC and a Telangana Friends’ Organization.
