Botsa brings senior TDP leader into congress

BosthaTDP senior leader from the Vijayanagaram district Mr Yedla Ramana Murthy today joined the congress party in the presence of Minister Botsa Satyanarayana. He joined the congress party at a simple function in Vijayanagaram where several supporters of congress party were also present along with the Minister.

Mr Ramana Murthy, presently a member of the ZPTC, also worked as the district TDP president in the past and has good relations with party members at the grass root level. For the last three months, there has been speculation that Mr Murthy may leave TDP to join the bandwagon of former Kadapa MP YS Jaganmohan reddy but reversing all the speculations, he joined the congress party.

It is heard that party president Chandrababu Naidu did not take any serious steps to prevent him from quitting the party and join the congress party, though he is in the knowledge for some time that he may leave TDP.
