The AP High Court today issued notices to the YSR congress party president YS Jaganmohan reddy on the illegalities that took place in Jagathi Publications owning the Sakshi Telugu daily and the Sundur Power project.
The court has asked Jagan to show causes why investigations should not be conducted into illegalities in his companies and also into the properties allegedly accumulated by him illegally. The court also issued notices to the state government and the Centre to show reasons why they can’t be ordered to conduct investigations into his alleged illegal properties.
The High Court issued these notices after admitting a PIL (public Interest Litigation) filed by the TDP seeking investigations into amassing of wealth by Jagan illegally during tenure of the late chief minister YSR.
Earlier, the court sent notices to Jagan on a petition filed by minister Sankara rao seeking investigations into the illegally accumulated wealth of Jagan.
The court fixed March 25 for further hearing of the case and said the arguments will be heard on the same day on both the petitions filed by the TDP and minister Sankara rao.
