Taking forward the war declared by her family members on her brother-in-law and TDP chief N. Chandrababu Naidu, Union Minister Purandhareswari slammed him saying that he has adopted a use and throw policy towards the family members of the late legendary actor NTR.
Addressing reporters in Ongole during her one day tour of the town this afternoon, she said that Chandrababu has always followed a policy of use and throw against her family members and he is still following that policy. “His antics are on the rise and he must be stopped immediately,” the minister said hinting at the widened gulf between the former chief minister and NTR family members.
She said that her brother Hari Krishna’s son and film hero Jr. NTR is the heir apparent of the late NTR in acting. “But in politics, Jr. NTR must watch his steps,” Purandhareswari cautioned. Assuring her cooperation and support to her brothers and sisters, the minister said that she was not accustomed to the policy of using and throwing away the family members like Chandrababu Naidu.
Talking about the by-elections, she said that congress will win with bumper majority in both Kadapa Lok Sabha and Pulivendula assembly constituencies. “But the by-polls are not any referendum on the performance of the government,” she said.
