PRP MLA Sobha Nagi Reddy, owing allegiance to the YSR Congress party president YS Jaganmohan reddy, today attacked the TDP president Chandrababu Naidu for demanding the constitution of the Joint Legislative Committee (JLC) to probe the allegations of illegalities in the land allotments made by the YSR regime.

Speaking to media persons at the Media Point in the assembly, Sobha Nagi reddy said that Chandrababu Naidu had resorted to this cheap trick as he was unable to face Jagan directly. “Chandrababu would not have made this demand if Jagan had not entered into politics,” she said.

“If such a House committee is constituted, the probe should also include the allotments made by the TDP Chief Minister Chandrababu during his regime,” she demanded.

She said allotments made by Chandrababu to Rahejas brought heavy losses to the government and his generosity towards the Ambanis on Relaince Gas had benefited the media baron Ramoji Rao.

“Reliance made investments in Ramoji group because it was made to benefit in Reliance Gas by Chandrababu at the cost of the state Exchequer,” she said demanding a probe into the Ramoji Film City affairs also.
