Lok Satta Chief and Kukatpalli MLA Mr Jaya Prakash Narayana today lodged a complaint with the Deputy Speaker of the Assembly Nadendla Manohar that TRS members had attacked him at the Media Point in the assembly premises.

Soon after the attack, JP directly went into the Deputy Speaker’s chamber and lodged a written complaint. Later, JP called up the police commissioner AK Khan over phone and lodged complaint about the attack.

After receiving the complaint of JP, Manohar called medical doctors and asked them to conduct tests on JP. When asked whether police would take action against those who attacked JP in the assembly premises, DCP A. Sabharwal said they would register case if Deputy Speaker lodges a complaint on the attack.
