30 passengers were injured, some of them seriously, when a speeding RTC bus turned turtle after veering off its way from a main road in Srikakulam district today.
Police said that the fully croweded bus turned upside down at M. Avalangi of Saravakota Mandalam while the driver was negotiating a narrow curve on the main road. “The driver seems to have lost control of the vehicle resulting in the accident,” said police.
Police took the injured to the Government hospital at Patapatnam and the condition of some of the injured to be critical. More details of this accident are yet to pour in.
