Minister Jupally Krishna Rao will launch his Telangana Praja Abhiyan Padayatra from Sunday seeking separate state for the Telangana region.

Krishna Rao, who quit his job two months ago but whose resignation is still pending with the Chief Minister Kiran kumar reddy, told media persons this after noon in Hyderabad that he would launch his Yatra from Mahaboobnagar town.

He asked all pro-Telangana politicians and activists to support his decision and accompany him in his pursuit of Telangana state with full vigour. “But I will continue my Yatra till I achieve the Telangana state irrespective of the support extended by others,” he said. “I will act as per the wishes and aspirations of the Telangana people.”

The Telangana Intellectuals Forum had extended support to the Minister’s Yatra and asked people to participate in it in good numbers.
