Hola, readers, welcome to the world of videos on Wishesh Digital Media which will feature every Saturday starting today where we pick the best of the best on the internet and post them here. You no longer need to painfully search for videos on the universe of YouTube where there is a high chance of missing the good ones.
This column will have six videos in all. One winner for the week and five videos which are worthy of a mention as the best.
Winner of the Week: The Russian Meteor Blast
What is seen on screen is completely real and has injured over 1200 people with the deafening and literally window shattering sound. The incident occurred on 15th February, 2013 in Chelyabinsk region, Ural Mountains, Russia and was recorded in several amateur videos. It attracted over 19 million viewers in different videos in just a day. The last such incident occurred in Russia in 1908, popularly remembered as Tunguska event of 1908 in remote Siberia.

Hot nickel on Ice:
After his video on Leidenfrost effect, demonstrated by hot nickel in water, YouTube user carsandwater went on with his third video in the category with "hot knife through butter" like effect of a hot nickel ball in Ice. Harlem Shake:
History repeats itself and old trends are revamped to become newer trends. What triggered the trend again is not very clear but February 2013 has sparked up the 2000's trend of Harlem Shake. Originally starting in 1981, the dance became mainstream in 2001 after a song Let's Get It by G Dep had a fair deal of Harlem Shake in the video.
Dog Jumps over river
Though the river might not be the size of a conventional river that you picture in your mind, the dog makes an acrobatic effort to go on to the other side of the fairly large stream to retrieve the stick in a game of fetch.
Dubstep Dance:
Dancer Marquese Scott, who posts videos on YouTube under the user account WHZGUD2, is fairly popular on the internet for his eccentric and exceptionally talented freestyle dance with dubstep songs where in he performs unimaginable moves. This is his latest video with Grammy Winner Adele's "Set fire to the Rain" song remixed with a hint of dubstep.
Crazy Avalanche Backflip:
Powder snow skirng is for experts, and this is why. The skier in his trails creates and avalanche and skillfully and effortlessly dodges the avalanche displaying his skill with a backflip.
