Esquire, the extremely popular Men's magazine, has recently named Miranda Kerr, the Australian top model as the "Sexiest Woman Alive" this year. The 28-year old is the wife of Orlando Bloom, the Hollywood star popular for many roles including the role as Will Turner in Pirates of the Caribbean series. The couple have a son together.
She received the accolades humbly while she had posed with his son, who is a little over an year now, for the popular publication. In a interview she mentioned that being sexy has not taken out the tomboy in her.
"I believe in celebrating the female figure and embracing what we've been given, not hiding that," she said.
Regardless of the numerous sexy shoots where she embraces her body the most graceful way, she spoke of her childhood adventures too.
Kerr who grew up with her grandparents on their farm had a bit of exposure of the wild side. "I spent my childhood outdoors on my grandparents' farm. I learned to ride a motorbike when I was about six, a little PeeWee 50.
A sexy star with a fantasy to climb trees? Unimaginable to the modern world! "I'd climb trees - there was a big weeping willow. We had a flying fox [a zip-line].” She adds that he enjoyed her childhood, “I was so fortunate to grow up like that.”
Though she is here posing for the shutterbugs and photoshoots from several renowned franchises like the Victoria's Secret (she is one of the very few who has had the chance to don a luxury Fantasy Bra studded with diamonds and other gems), her heart still lies in the wild or the idyllic pastures. 'I really feel that my body craves to be in the mountains or by the ocean or in the countryside. I still like to climb the odd tree. Yeah, it's fun! I like to climb. I find it very rewarding.'
