The new face in Bollywood, Parineeti Chopra who appears in female lead role in Ishaqzaade has said that silver screen was not her choice but a chance. The pretty actress has said that she had three honours degress—in economics, business and finance—and dreamt of becoming an investment banker.
She has also said that it was due to the global recession in 2009 that she was unable to find a job in London. Parineeti said it was not due to lack of qualification but there were no jobs literally available then. It was then Parineeti Chopra came down to India and wanted to do a six-month internship. She said it was then that she met Yash Raj films and they okayed for a film named—Ladies v/s Ricky Bahl that was released in 2011. Nonetheless, she being the cousin of noted actress Priyanka Chopra, said she loved acting and her respect for acting profession escalated after looking at actors from so close.
Parineeti Chopra completed her studies at Manchester Business School in England. She said she never ever thought she would settle in India as a Bollywood actor.
This is what happens. While a person wants to become something, destiny will have something else to offer. But then determined people never accept defeats. Probably, Parineeti Chopra was more interested in films. Otherwise, she can now also go and try for a job since many countries are out from the clutches of global recession. (Phani)
