The most acclaimed movie of B-Wood, `The Dirty Picture’ has created ripples at the Box Office. But in spite of huge profits the film had more unaccounted eyes turned to, through the piracy version. To end the controversy on Monday the movie unit released the DVD version of the film, by its producer Ekta Kapooor, at Mumbai on Monday. The DVD was released just within two months of release, to give the audience the best quality to view.

'The Dirty Picture' is the highest pirated film in the history of Indian movies and if we had not come out with the DVD now then the piracy would have made much more money than it had already done,’ said the producer of the film Ekta.

The lead actor with the voluptuous looks, Vidya Balan said, `I just knew one thing we all were trying to make a good film as long as you know that nothing is in your control.’ The B-Wood siren won many acclaims for the portrayal of Silk in the film. But she claims being a part of the film is the real credit. She said at the launch,` I think the biggest award was 'The Dirty Picture'. I got an opportunity to play Silk and to work with this team is the biggest award.
