Caution teen agers and those who are carried away by friendship advertisements.  You could end up with a big dent in your bank balance.

The fact that a man handles your call and speaks like a female, using advanced software, might thrill you in the first instance. But if you turn victim to the evil designs of this particular gentleman, who carefully schemes to make you go bankrupt… how you do feel … horrible is it not. That’s what has happened in Mumbai.

Of all one might know most advertisements that carry invitations for Friendship club’ could be dubious, while some could be genuine too. Sleuths of Mumbai stumbled upon stunning results when investigating a case. They arrested one Sanjay Chaturvedi (35), who runs ‘Cool club India', a friendship club. This particular club duped several people of money, including a police officer and a former BMC commissioner. Sanjay was arrested along with three of his accomplices.

At the time of arrest Sanjay had a few china made mobiles and 15-20 SIM cards. The interesting feature is that the mobiles had unique software installed in them, which convert male voice into female voice. Using this software, he used to talk to customers, who were lured by the advertisement. Talking sensuously was the knack and to extend the conversation the subscriber had to pay some amount like 10,000-50,000 as security deposit. This deposit was promised to be returned later. After this the calls would stop and would not respond too.
