The super success in the Lok Sabha elections gave Bharatiya Janata Party much needed energy and now its focus got shifted on the states where the party is sitting in the opposition. Down the South, BJP is trying all its efforts to come to power but lack of leadership is haunting them. But the conditions are favourable for BJP only Karnataka state and is now doing all things to gain people's confidence even though the elections are three years away from now.

To put the ruling party in back foot, BJP took advantage of the rape of a six year school girl and staged a massive protest in the India's IT capital. Around 300 students of the BJP Youth Wing waved flags, shouted slogans and tried to break through metal police barricades outside the Bangalore school. They demanded the arrest of the school chairman and police had to work hard to keep the Law and Order in control. Not stopping here, 100 BJP activists marched down to Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah's residence demanding severe action against the school authorities.

The head of the student group also demanded resignation of Home Minister from the post as well as from the Congress party. He claimed that the government has failed in all aspects and even in security. Overall, BJP politicised the issue and diverted the national media attention too. Well, such incidents needed to condemned but should not be seen in larger lenses. It would have been better if BJP protested in the benefit of the people.
