New President eyes East, South

Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] new national president Amit Shah who returned to Gujarat for the first time got an overwhelming reception. BJP workers and Gujarat CM Anandiben Patel made a grand welcome to Amit and congratulated him.

Speaking on this occasion, the BJP Chief said, “Central and North India have been backbone for BJP, now our focus is East and South India. In the recent elections, we have considerably improved our presence and strength in the two regions but they are not enough. We want strengthen the party at every corner of the country.”

Commenting on Narendra Modi government Amit Shah opined that the budget took clear measures to revive the economy. “The Modi era has begun and India will reach to new highs in the coming years and hope the country will become a super power,” added the BJP chief.

Backing the supporters and BJP workers, “Party and supporters stood by me at tough times. It gave me enough stamina to bounce back. With clear majority in the recent elections doesn't mean, party workers job isn't done. The partymen should reach out to the common man and explain the government's message. We have a bigger responsibility,” added Amit Shah.
