Ram Vilas looks at BJP

Ram Vilas Pawan's Lok Janshakti Party [LJP] is looking at an alliance with Bharatiya Janata Party [BJP] for the upcoming general elections. LJP Parliamentary Board will meet this week and alliance with BJP is top agendra and leaders of LJP are also getting ready for the polls. LJP was part of BJP led NDA but moved out in the year 2002 over Gujarat riots.

Meanwhile Bihar BJP leaders have welcomed this decision. Sushil Kumar Modi said, “we weren't approached by any leader of LJP. But they are most welcome to NDA. We are fighting against Congress and however wants to be part of us are always welcome.”

When asked an LJP leader over the Modi being the Prime Ministerial candidate for NDA they said, “when the court itself granted clean sheet to Modi, what as party can we do ?” This statements clearly indicates that LJP has made its mind for the alliance and hope a decision may carve out later this week.
