According to the Delhi Police, two Muslim confessors of Lashkar-e-Taiba have reportedly tried to hire men from riots hit Muzaffarnagar. The suspects were detained by the Delhi Police last month in Haryana and in the investigation, they have revealed some crucial information. The confessors were identified as Hafeez Rashidi and Shahid, both visited few villages in the district post riots who are assigned the task of recruitment by LeT which planned for an attack in the capital
They tried convince the victims but weren't that fruitful. However, the Uttar Pradesh police have denied any presence of Lashkar operatives in and around Muzaffarnagar.
