The Indian army brought into prominence that five of its soldiers were destroyed when Pakistani troops fired at a post near the cease-fire line in the controversial Himalayan region of Kashmir. The incident could utter menace current proposal for peace talks to continue between the nuclear-armed rivals. The military called on Tuesday's attack a "gross violation" of a 2003 cease-fire in Kashmir between India as well as Pakistan.
