An improptu preparatory committee was underway  in Dakshina Kannada district for the launch of the Aam Admi Party in the state. There were over 40 members in the committee who were chosen in the presence of representatives of Karnataka state on Sunday.

The meeting was presided over by KN Chandrakanth, who spoke about the preamble of the party and the vision of the party.

Consumer activist and businessman, Robert Rosario was voted the convenor for the committee,while  S Nandagopal was appointed the joint convener. Others like Rohan Shiri stepped up as the secretary and Agnel Pereira as treasurer.

Their strategy in the organizations of party were also discussed in the meeting. This committee would herald the future establishment in the state being the grass-root level embarking of their activities.
