The Delhi police are getting ready for submitting the charge sheet on Delhi gang rape case before the Delhi High Court today. Out of the six accused, the police have doubts on the age of an accused. They suspected one accused to be a minor earlier. To ascertain the same, Delhi police would take the minor accused for a bone marrow test wherein his age would be ascertained. Accordingly, the police would then complete the formalities of the charge sheet.
While the five accused, whose age has been ascertained would be produced before the court, in case the medical test on the sixth accused ascertains him to be a minor, then he would be produced before the Juvenile Justice Board. If the crime is proved, then minors (in the present case) would be sent to a special children's home wherein a maximum of three years imprisonment would be given. The sources said that prayers were going on across the country for stringent punishment of all the accused. The demands include from castrating to capital punishment.
Meanwhile, the police have almost completed the 1000 page charge sheet wherein they mentioned chronology of events that took place on the crime date and the after math. The police even mentioned that the six accused had a heavy party on December 16 and they took out bus only to earn extra money so that they could buy more liquor. This joy ride of the accused turned fatal to a 23-year-old medical student who entered into the clutches of the beasts when she boarded the bus. She was brutally raped and thrown out of bus naked. Last Saturday, after having battled with life, the innocent daughter of India succumbed to injuries.
This accident shook the entire world, which eventually led the central government, the President of India, the chief ministers of various states and even the Indian Army to cancel the new year's party on December 31 night.
