There is no safety from thieves on bikes in the city; even for the police. There have been several incidents of chain snatching or theft that was performed by miscreants on bikes but this was has gone a little overboard.

One bike borne miscreant stole a walkie talkie from a traffic constable and managed to escape from the police within seconds. The incident occurred at Begumpet which happens to be a very busy junction at most points of the day.

This incident now raises doubts in the security in the city now. That aside, what did the person even want to do with a walkie-talkie of all things from a traffic constable? Wouldn't that make it easier to get  you caught? Well, the SI of Ramgopalpet Police Station has arrested the thief and would be getting his answers shortly.
