Karnataka and Tamil Nadu states kept officials in both the states on tenterhooks after tense atmosphere broke on Karnataka-Tamil Nadu border over water dispute on Friday. The fight didn't stop it there between certain people of Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. They have apparently cried foul on the issue and the government of Karnataka decided to appeal the decision of Supreme Court in another couple of days over present water sharing rule.
It is known that Supreme Court gave interim order to Karnataka directing the state to release 10,000 cusecs of Cauvery water to Tamil Nadu. Karnataka chief minister Jagadish Shettar said he would appeal to the Supreme Court over the same as other BJP MP s supported Shettar and stated that Karanataka was not in a position to release water to Tamil Nadu.
