When it comes to promoting ideas and brands, celebrities are the most sought after ones given the fan base they have. But for the first time traffic police wanted to send across their signals into the public especially the youth strongly with the help of a heroine. And they chose Sonam Kapoor.

Thanks to Delhi police who made Sonam hit the headlines in a new style. Yes, it was Delhi police who wanted to propagate the importance of helmet, chose Sonam Kapoor to spread their message effectively. But it looked like Pulsar vehicle here dragged much attention.

When helmets were made mandatory in Andhra Pradesh, AP police took up a unique initiative of taking away the licences and registration cards of those not wearing helmets and asking them for come to special screening (short film on helmet safety) for taking back their respective documents. Such people, although came to movie for the heck of collecting back their documents, they apparently got to how how important helmet wearing was. Delhi police should also do something like that, said observers. Anyway, Sonam Kapoor's words are like holy statements to scores of her fans-including men and women.
