Congress Secretary General, Digvijaya Singh tweeted on his microblogging account that the ill Shiv Sena supremo has passed away.

He wrote on his Twitter account, "Sorry to hear about Bala Saheb's sad demise. Never accepted his Political Ideology but admired his Wit and Courage of Conviction."

Immediately after he realized his mistake and learned that he made a grave mistake and apologized to the Thackeray family while praying for the Shiv Sena leader's health.

Retracting his blunder earlier on the social network, he tweeted, "My apologies to Thakre Family Pray for his speedy recovery"
He later spoke to the media reiterating that he wished the recovery of Balasaheb. "I pray to God to improve Bal Thackeray's health, he has fought against the world, I am sure he will fight for his health", he said.

BJP leader, Gopinath Munde who was at Matoshri today morning mentioned that Bal Thackeray was in better health compared to last night when the doctors announced that his health was very critical.
