Digvijay Singh, the General Secretary of Congress, has on several occasions tried to sink BJP with several allegations and he said that Kejriwal's expose had revealed nothing new the nation didn't know about Nitin Gadkari. He also said that he had better info and evidence against the BJP president.

He has also vowed to go to the court if the need be.

On the allegation from Kejriwal that Gadkari is more a businessman than a politician he said, "I have always said Mr Gadkari is more interested in doing business, than politics. It is only because of his proximity with the RSS chief that he has come to this position. If you examine his assets, you will find his assets increased as soon as he became a minister in the state cabinet of Maharashtra”.

He expressed discontentment with the charges pressed by Kejriwal as the public was expecting a bigger revelation. He had not outed any details regarding what he was finding out about Gadkari, but he said that he was collecting information. He menitioned Ajay Sancheti and Gadkari's relationship indicating the former's involvement in the coal block allocation scam and the Maharashtra irrigation scam. It is well known that Sancheti was offered a Rajya Sabha ticket by Gadkari amid the opposing voices in BJP.

He said that he would reveal the information all at once when the honorable judge calls him. Currently he had been blamed for the defamation case filed by Gadkari for alleging that he was associated with Mr Sancheti.
