The union finance minister Chidambaram has said that the country's economic development has been limping for the past two years. Mr. Chidambaram, who started Economic Newspaper Editors' Conference in Delhi today, has made these statements. India must not fear flow of foreign capital into the country, he said. Further, he mentioned that the duty of the finance ministry was to ensure that there would be at least eight to nine per cent growth rate.
