Digvijaya Singh had dug out at the BJP Lok Sabha members for causing frequent interruptions of Parliament sessions on the coal blocks allocation issue. The Congress general secretary on Friday said that instead of threatening that they would resign, the BJP LS members should actually resign without the melodrama.
"There was no need for the BJP members to threaten that they will resign, instead they should quit without any ado," Singh said.
If at all the members of the BJP resign, there would be byelections in all the constituencies that they resign. Mr Singh said that even considering the worst case scenario Congress would surely win at least 20 to 30 seats that are currently under the BJP members.
He also opined that their dillydallying tactics were only causing harm to the proceedings of the Parliament.
