Neil Armstrong getting better after heart surgery

The first person to walk on the moon, Neil Armstrong has undergone a heart surgery and is recovering from it. The 82 year old was referred to as the true hero of America by NASA administrator Charles Bolden who wished him a quick recovery. He also said that his spirit of pioneering would surely help him at hard times like these allowing him to recover soon.

Armstrong surgery involved unblocking of the four clogged coronary arteries.

Being the commander of the Apollo 11 mission, Armstrong was the first man to set foot on the Moon on 20 July 1969 after traveling with three other astronauts. He also received Congressional Gold Medal, the highest US award for a civilian, in November.
