The ex-girlfriend of the gunman who was involved in the gurudwara shooting in the Wisconsin area was arrested after she was charged with possession of illegal weapons.

She faces of  weapon charges after she was found in possession of firearms illegally and would be facing trial  through the Milwaukee County District Attorney, South Milwaukee Police Department said in a brief statement.

Misty M Cook the 31 year old ex-girlfriend of the gunman was arrested on Sunday after her ex-boyfriend had killed six worshippers in the meaningless killings. He was later killed by a police officer at the gurudwara in Wisconsin Oak Creek to the south of Miluwaukee.

In the hunt for the army veteran 4 people were injured including a police officer. The real act could have been motivated by domestic terrorism as investigations revealed that Page was involved in white supremacist groups and was a member of skinhead rock bands.

Neighbors said that Cook and Page lived together in South Milwaukee before breaking up in June.
