The condition of the union minister and former Maharashtra CM, Vilasrao Deshmukh, was said to be stable. He was admitted to Global Hospital in Chennai late last night due to multiple organ failure. Notably, doctors on Tuesday said the condition of Vilasrao Deshmukh was critical and he was kept on life support (ventilator). VIPs from all fields went to Global Hospital and met Vilasrao Deshmukh.
The doctors at the hospital today told Morning Cable that Vilasrao Deshmukh's health condition was okay. However, he was kept in the Intensive Care Unit, they added. It may be noted that son of Vilasrao Deshmukh, Riteish Deshmukh came forward to donate a part of his live to his father. The doctors said whether Vilasrao needs a liver transplant or not would be ascertained in another 48 hours.
Meanwhile, prayers were going on across Maharashtra by scores of Vilasrao Deshmukh fans at several temples for his speedy recovery.
