Gatecrasher in London Olympics opening ceremony identified as Madhura

The woman who gatecrashed into the London Olympics opening ceremony was identified as Madhura Nagendra who hailed from Banglore. The mystery woman in red was dancer in the paegentry of Danny Boyle.
Wearing a red top, blue pants and sneakers, she had marched along with the whole Indian contingent along with the flag bearer Sushil Kumar whilst waving and smiling at the cameras. Later she disappeared midway during the show
"My daughter was selected for a performance at the inaugural by Danny Boyle," said Madhura's father, K L Nagendra, a leather export entrepreneur based in Bangalore.
London Organizing committee's chairman Sebastian Coe on Sunday had confirmed that she was not a security threat and a member of the cast who was a bit over excited.
"She made it into the opening ceremony. She obviously should not have been there," Coe said.
The father of the woman in red had stated that she was not an intruder at all costs and was a member of the crew. She also couldn't have come inside without security clearance and hence hasn't breached any security.
"Being an Indian, the organizing committee might have selected Madhura to take the team inside the stadium," he said. He also apolozised on his daughter's behalf for huting the team's feelings.
Madhura is the second of three daughters of Nagendra and Janhavi, residents of Banashankari area in Bangalore. Madhura completed her masters in communication in 2009 from Christ University.
