On Monday, the Kranti Chowk police had arrested a gang of thieves who were known for stealing vehicles in many states. They also retrieved a dumper truck costing Rs 20 Lakh which was earlier stolent from the city. The suspects hailed from Jalna and other parts of Uttar pradesh. The suspects after being interrogated by the police have revealed that they stole three vehicles of different makes in Aurangabad in the last few months.

Inspector Prakash Kulkarni of the Kranti Chowk Police said they had recovered a truck in Jalna which was soon to be disassembled, dismantled for selling the spare parts. He said that they were trying to recover a Mahindra Bolero and also two other cars that have been disposed by the suspects at different places.
