Serious chargest to be pressed against Gautam Vora

Gautam Vora, the Mumbai Crime Branch demanded the metropolitan magistrate court, should be booked with serious charges for sheltering Vijay Palande who was accused of triple murder charges and arrested. Gautam Vora had provided shelter from the police to Vijay after he ran from the police custody.

If at all convicted of the charges Gautam would have to serve time in the prison for 10 years. The charges against Vora were clearly submitted as a 160 page chargesheet report to the chief magistrate metropolitan court last week. The police had also said that Vora sheltered Palande despite being aware of his crimes which is punishable under section 212 of IPC, harboring an offender.

Vora and Palande have both been registered under the charges of section 202, (intentional omission to provide information of offence by person bound to inform), 212 (harbouring offender), 224 (resistance or obstruction by a person to his lawful apprehension ) and 225 (resistance or obstruction to lawful apprehension of another person.
