Anil, 23 year old constable of the Delhi police, was allegedly nurdered by his girlfriend, who happens to be a minor, at his rented house in Kondli, East Delhi on Sunday afternoon.

Anil lived at the first floor of the apartment to which his girlfriend had paid a visit after a small quarrel on the phone. She was then asked to come to his house where they had arguments about their future. Later the girl had stabbed him in the chest with a knife she got in the kitchen. She and a neighbor had taken the police to Lal Bahadur Shastri Hospital.

At the hospital, doctors confirmed that he was dead by the time he reached hospital and that the death was due to excessive beeleding due to the stab wounds in the chest, on first appearance.

The hospital authorities have notified the police who rushed to the hospital and detained the girl. Her age would also be medically determined by the doctors. She would be produced inthe juvenile justice board. She was booked under murder.

The neighbors and the landlady said that they didn't hear any arguments or commotion during the alleged time of murder.

Anil joined the Delhi Police as a constable in 2007. He was originally positioned at Paschim Vihar. The girl is attending her Management courses at a private college.
