Hailing from Ahmednagar in Maharashtra, a 12-year old student has set a unique record of reciting the entire Quran without seeing it in 12 hours.

Hafiz Mohammad Zabihullah, who studies at Darul Uloom Tajul Masjid, began reciting the book in the supervision of the head of Darul Uloom, Peer Sayeed Sahab, Maulana Ahsan Khan Nadvi andother Hifz department teachers. Zabiullah took no longer than 8 months to memorize the Quran completely and he could recite it without mistakes without even glancing at the book.

The recitement began at 8 am and continued till 8 in the night. Zabiullah was commended and rewarded for his unique achievement by the Darul Uloom.
