With French embassy making it clear that it has nothing to do with the rape allegations of France Consulate General in Bangalore, the police in Bangalore busted Frecnh diplomat for allegedly raping his three-and-half year old daughter.  Also, the Ministry of External Affairs has said that the French diplomat enjoys no immunity. Therefore, his arrest became inevitable.

Pascal was arrested in the early hours of Tuesday. He was immediately taken for a medical check up and would be presented in a local court today.

The sources indicated that  French consulate officials are likely to help the Indian police in the investigation. It may be recalled that French diplomat Pascal's wife approached an NRI and sought help after she found that her husband allegedly raped their little daughter. Subsequently, a case was filed against Pascal.
