Karnataka High Court on Monday will hear the bail petitions filed by former Karnataka chief minister and BJP leader Yedyurappa and his family members. It is known that Yeddy and his family members moved bail petition in the High Court after the CBI officials conducted raids on residences of Yeddy simulatenously a few weeks ago. Yeddy is facing charges by CBI for his alleged involvement in irregularities in mining on the borders of the state.
It may be recalled that Yeddy and co first approached CBI court for anticipatory bail the day when these search operations were conducted. The CBI court, however, quashed the bail petition on June 13. Therefore, Yedyurappa approached high court.
