After Narendra Modi, it is former Karnataka chief minister Yedyurappa who is attending BJP’s national executive meeting on the second day today in Mumbai. It is known that Gujarat chief minister Narendra Modi on Thursday attended the key party meeting. Yeddy, who had been sidelines by BJP for quite sometime, arrived in Mumbai in the morning.
As soon as he arrived in the city at 10 AM, Yeddy spoke to the media. He has told the media persons that he would not expect any post nor ask the party for any special recognition. It may be noted that Yeddy was irked with BJP for not reinstating him the chief minister of Karnataka. He even purportedly wanted to destabilize the state government then but his hopes were dashed when CBI conducted raids on his properties.
Meanwhile, Yedyurappa has said that he wanted his (Karnataka)state to be developed. He even wished that Karnataka should become number one state in the country in terms of development. He has also said that was going for congratulating Nitin Gadkari for his second term as the president of BJP.
