The famous flower show at popular hill-station Ooty has started on Friday-May 18 at Botanical Garden. The flower show will be on for three days. This show has gained so popular over years that it literally drags a large number of people from across the country. Keeping in view the same, the Tamilnadu Road Transport Corportation (TSRTC) has been running special buses between Coimbatore and Ooty.
It may be noted that people who wish to arrive at Ooty will first reach Coimbatore either by train or plane and from there they would catch bus. Some people prefer to go by toy train from Mettupalayam.
The officials of TSRTC have said that 45 special buses would be operated from Coimbatore to Ooty and 15 buses each to Ooty from Mettupalayam, Erode and Tirupur.
It may be recalled that nearly 10,000 visitors arrived at Ooty last year to have a glimpse of variety of flowers at Ooty Flower Show. (Phani)
