MCA to meet today on Wankade stadium scuffle

The Mumbai Cricket Association is going to meet on Friday to discuss the alleged dirty episode that took place the other day between co-owner of IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders, Shahrukh Khan and the officials of the Mumbai Cricket Association.

The MCA president Vilasrao Deshmukh has convened this meeting to discuss regarding the clash between the security officials and SRK. Briefing the media on this meet, Vilasrao has said that the future course of action would be taken once the meeting gets concluded.

It may be recalled that jostle took place between the Bollywood actor and the security officials on Wednesday at Wankade stadium in Mumbai when SRK wanted to enter the stadium to celebrate the victory of his team against Mumbai Indians. Whereas, Shahrukh has said that he arrived at the stadium to collect his kids and complained that the security personnel manhandled the children, which is why he had lost his temper.

Angered by the incident, MCA officials opened a non-cognizable case with a local police station against the actor. SRK while elucidating the reasons behind the clash denied to tender apologies. Meanwhile, Nitin Dalal,  joint secretary of MCA has alleged that Shahrukh Khan was using his kids to gain sympathy.

Everyone in the country is eagerly waiting as to what would be the outcome of the meeting. Will MCA take action against the necessary security personnel after going through the footage (in case available) or will it complaint against SRK to BCCI? We have to wait and see.    (Phani)
