A CBI court in Bangalore has adjourned the hearing on the anticipatory bail petition filed by Karnataka former chief minister Yedyurappa and three of his family members till May 25. The former CM suspected the CBI arrest since it had started probing the alleged illegal scam by Yeddy and co.
Yedyurappa-who was all set to destabilize the Karnataka Government-received a shock when the Supreme Court ordered CBI probe on alleged illegal digging of mines. While this order dashed the hopes of Yeddy and Co, they reportedly feared of being arrested when CBI conducted multiple raids on his houses at different parts of the state simultaneously. The moment he got to know about the raids, his counsels moved the court.
The court while adjourning the hearing asked the petitioners to approach a regular court. However, there’s summer vacation to regular courts already. With Yeddy approaching the court for anticipatory bail, everyone in the country came to know that Yedyurappa, his two sons and son-in-law are fearing the arrests of the Central Bureau of Investigation.
