Five days after his capture and killing by the rebels backed by the NATO forces, the dead body of the former Libyan strong man Col Gaddafi was buried this morning at a secret location in Misrata.

Military officials said that the bodies of Gaddafi’s son Muatassim and top aide have been buried in a secret location in the presence of few relatives and officials.

“The burial took place at 5 a.m. today and Islamic prayers were read over the bodies,” said a statement released by the military officials. However, journalists couldn’t get independent confirmation of the report.

The anti-Gaddafi forces held the three bodies in cold storage after Gaddafi’s capture and killing in unclear circumstances near his home town Sirte on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the head of the National Transitional Council government Mustafa Abdul-Jalil declared that the new rulers of Libya are moderate Muslims. The statement was given to send a message to the NATO powers including the USA to convey that the new Libyan Government is ready to dance to their tunes.
