Rohan (28), son of N R Narayana Murthy, chief mentor of the software major Infosys and Lakshmi Venu (27), daughter of Venu Srinivasan, chairman of India’s second largest two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company, tied the nuptial knot on Sunday in Chennai in the presence of a galaxy of industrialists of the country.

The star-studded event, which brought the two major industrialist families together in relation, was attended, among others, by senior BJP leader LK Advani, Union Ministers P Chidambaram, Kamal Nath, Anand Sharma and G K Vasan.

The top corporate honchos who blessed the couple included Infosys former chairman and Unique Identification Development Authority of India president Nandhan Nilekani, Air Deccan founder-chairman Captain G R Gopinath and Godrej group chairman Adi Godrej.

While Rohan Murthy is a Microsoft fellow and pursuing Ph.D in computer science from Harvard University, Lakshmi Venus has already found her way into the Board of the TVS Motor Company.
