Coming down heavily on police and some top politicians for the first time after CBI began investigations into the allegations against him, the tainted Swami Nityananda said today that he was implicated in the case by some top people for no fault of his.

Addressing a media conference at his Bidadi Asram near Bangalore, the Swami said an FIR was lodged against him for rape case but police could not find any victims. “Police have registered rape case against me without citing the names of rape victims and cited me as an accused. But where are the victims? When there is no victim of rape, how can you call me as an accused?” he asked.

Nityananda also disclosed that some top politicians demanded Rs.100 Cr from him to bring him out of the case and when he rejected the demand, they uploaded from 1700 computers the morphed video purported to be showing him in a compromising position with cine actress Ranjitha.

“I have details of people who dared to blackmail me for money and downgrading my prestige throughout the world,” he said and added he would undertake a 21-day Padayatra from Kanyakumari to Bidari Asram soon to come out of the implicated cases.
